Beyond the Therapy Room

Outside of work, I enjoy exploring creative activities, engaging in lifelong learning, and spending quality time with family. I am passionate about educational development and enjoy designing programs and workshops that empower children, educators, and parents. These experiences keep me grounded and remind me of the importance of curiosity, balance, and connection in everyday life.

My Path as a Therapist

I began my career in India as a clinical psychologist, conducting psychological assessments, IQ testing, and personality evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults. I provided individual and group counseling, designed remedial programs for children with learning differences, ADHD, and ADD, and guided parents and teachers in addressing behavioral and educational challenges. Over time, I expanded my work to include community and school-based mental health, supporting children, teens, and families with emotional regulation, social-emotional development, and trauma. In the United States, I continued my journey as an Associate MFT, providing therapy to youth, adults, couples, and families while also teaching psychology at multiple community colleges. This diverse experience allows me to integrate assessment, psychoeducation, and therapy to help clients build resilience, gain clarity, and navigate life’s challenges.
