Navigating trauma, parenting stress, relationship challenges, or major life transitions can leave you feeling emotionally exhausted, disconnected, or uncertain about how to move forward. You may find yourself struggling with anxiety, depression, postpartum changes, family conflict, behavioral concerns, or the pressure of balancing cultural and family expectations. These experiences can feel especially overwhelming when carrying the weight of past trauma, substance use within the family system, or the responsibilities that often come with caregiving and immigration-related stress.

As a therapist, I provide a compassionate, culturally sensitive space where you can feel heard, supported, and empowered to explore your experiences without judgment. My approach blends empathy with practical guidance to help clients build insight, strengthen emotional resilience, improve communication and relationships, and develop healthier coping strategies. Together, we work toward creating meaningful, lasting change so you can feel more grounded, connected, and confident in yourself and your future.

My Path as a Therapist

My path as a therapist began through years of working closely with children, families, and underserved communities within child welfare and social services. Supporting individuals through trauma, family instability, parenting challenges, reunification processes, and major life transitions gave me firsthand insight into how chronic stress, cultural pressures, and systemic barriers can deeply affect emotional well-being and relationships. These experiences strengthened my belief that healing begins when people feel safe, supported, and genuinely understood.

Throughout my work with children, parents, foster and adoptive families, and vulnerable populations, I developed a compassionate yet grounded approach centered on empathy, emotional attunement, and practical support. Working alongside families during some of the most difficult moments in their lives taught me the importance of meeting clients with cultural humility while helping them build resilience, coping skills, and meaningful change.

Today, I bring this trauma-informed and systems-based foundation into the therapy room. My approach is collaborative, culturally responsive, and holistic, integrating modalities such as CBT, family systems, and play-based interventions to support children, adults, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, postpartum experiences, relationship concerns, and life transitions. I strive to create a space where clients feel safe to express their authentic selves, deepen self-awareness, and feel empowered in their healing journey.

My cultural lens is shaped by working closely with diverse individuals, families, and communities across a wide range of cultural backgrounds and identities. I understand that experiences such as immigration, bicultural identity, generational differences, family expectations, LGBTQ+ identity exploration, and systemic stress can deeply influence emotional well-being and relationships. I approach therapy with cultural sensitivity, curiosity, and respect, with the goal of helping clients feel seen, understood, and supported within the context of their unique lived experiences.
