Growing up and finding your place in the world can be complicated. Children and teens may struggle to express what they’re feeling, while young adults may feel overwhelmed by anxiety, relationships, identity, or expectations about who they are supposed to be. Families may also find themselves navigating conflict, behavioral concerns, or difficulty understanding what their child needs.

I believe therapy should be a space where you can feel comfortable being yourself without fear of judgment. My approach is compassionate, creative, and guided by each client’s individual pace. I work with children, teens, young adults, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, neurodiversity, behavioral concerns, relationship difficulties, and cultural or identity challenges.

Using approaches such as Play Therapy, Art Therapy, Narrative Therapy, CBT, and Family Systems, I help clients express difficult emotions, better understand themselves, and build healthier ways of coping and connecting with others. My goal is not to change who you are, but to help you strengthen your sense of self, build healthier relationships, and feel more hopeful about what’s ahead.

My Path as a Therapist

My path as a therapist has been shaped by my passion for helping children, teens, adults, and families better understand themselves and build healthier relationships. Much of my clinical experience has centered around working with children and adolescents navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral concerns, family conflict, and challenges with emotional regulation. Working closely with both young people and their families has shown me how important it is to understand not only the individual, but also the relationships and environments that influence their well-being.

I have a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent children and teens, including those with ADHD and Autism. My specialized training includes Unstuck and On Target, an approach designed to support youth with Autism and ADHD, as well as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). I have also worked directly with children on the Autism spectrum and their families, supporting communication, behavioral, and relational goals.

My approach to therapy is compassionate, creative, and tailored to each client’s pace. With children and teens, I may incorporate Play Therapy and Art Therapy to give them ways to communicate and process emotions beyond words. With adults and families, I draw from CBT, Narrative Therapy, and Family Systems approaches to explore emotional patterns, relationships, identity, and the experiences that shape how we see ourselves and others.

I believe therapy is not about changing who you are. It is about helping you better understand yourself, recognize your strengths, and develop the skills and confidence to navigate challenges in a healthier way. Whether I am supporting a child struggling with big emotions, a teen navigating anxiety or identity, an adult experiencing depression or life stress, or a family hoping to strengthen their relationships, my goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where each person feels heard and supported.

As a second-generation immigrant, I also understand how culture, family expectations, and identity can influence our experiences and relationships. I am especially passionate about supporting Asian American and immigrant families while providing culturally responsive care that respects each client’s individual background, values, and story.
