Living through trauma, family conflict, or major life stressors can leave you feeling overwhelmed, guarded, or unsure of how to move forward. You may notice anxiety, depression, anger, grief, or relationship challenges showing up in ways that feel hard to manage, even when you’re doing your best. These experiences can be especially heavy when layered with cultural pressures, system involvement, or past experiences of abuse or loss. As a therapist, I offer a compassionate, supportive space to help you understand what you’ve been carrying and how it continues to affect your daily life. Together, we focus on building practical coping skills, strengthening emotional regulation, and improving family and relationship dynamics so you can feel more grounded, empowered, and confident in your ability to move forward.

My Path as a Therapist

A therapist specialized in trauma, n California and Santa Ana

My path as a therapist began when I worked closely with children, families, and vulnerable populations as a social worker. Through supporting families navigating trauma, separation, reunification, and high-stress life transitions, I gained deep insight into how instability and chronic stress affect emotional well-being, attachment, and family dynamics. Collaborating with parents, children, and multidisciplinary professionals strengthened my ability to approach complex situations with both compassion and clear structure. These experiences shaped my belief that meaningful healing happens within a safe, supportive, and accountable therapeutic relationship.

Today, as a therapist, I bring this systems-informed, trauma-aware foundation into the therapy room. My approach is grounded, structured, and collaborative, with an emphasis on skill building, emotional regulation, and creating meaningful, sustainable change. I understand that therapy is not just about talking—it’s about developing tools, insight, and resilience that clients can carry into their daily lives.

My cultural lens is shaped by working closely with diverse communities and families across Orange County. I hold deep respect for the cultural values, identities, and lived experiences my clients bring into therapy, including the impact of intergenerational trauma, immigration stress, family expectations, and systemic inequities. I approach each client with humility, curiosity, and cultural sensitivity, and I strive to create a space where clients feel seen, understood, and empowered within the context of their full life experience.
