Sometimes you may understand what you’re feeling but still find it difficult to move past it. Anxiety, painful experiences, family expectations, relationship challenges, or major life transitions can leave you feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that are hard to change. You may also be navigating cultural expectations, adjusting to life between different cultures, or trying to find a stronger sense of who you are and what you need.

I believe therapy is an opportunity to slow down and become curious about what your mind and body may be carrying. My approach is warm, compassionate, and trauma-informed, integrating Brainspotting, somatic approaches, mindfulness-based practices, and IFS to support deeper emotional healing. Rather than focusing only on managing symptoms, I help clients develop greater awareness of themselves, reconnect with their strengths, and understand the experiences and patterns shaping their lives.

Whether you are seeking support for anxiety, trauma, relationships, cultural or identity concerns, or family challenges, my goal is to create a space where you feel safe to explore your experiences without judgment. Therapy can help you feel more grounded, connected, and confident in yourself as you create meaningful changes in your life.

My Path as a Therapist

My path as a therapist has been shaped by a deep interest in mindfulness, emotional healing, and the connection between our experiences, relationships, and sense of self. Before completing my graduate training in Marriage and Family Therapy, I spent several years creating and facilitating mindfulness and mental health programs focused on stress management, emotional resilience, and self-compassion. I also supported postpartum mothers through mindfulness-based practices and facilitated Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy programs for individuals experiencing anxiety and depression.

During my clinical training, I worked closely with individuals, children, and families, particularly within immigrant and underserved communities. I supported clients navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, parent-child conflict, and significant life stressors. This experience strengthened my understanding of how emotional well-being can be influenced by family relationships, cultural expectations, immigration experiences, and the environments in which we live.

My therapeutic approach has continued to grow through specialized training in Brainspotting, Internal Family Systems (IFS), trauma-informed care, and mindfulness-based approaches. I am especially interested in helping clients explore experiences that may be difficult to fully express through words alone. By paying attention to emotions, thoughts, physical sensations, and patterns of responding, therapy can create opportunities for greater self-awareness and deeper healing.

I believe meaningful change often begins when we have the space to slow down and listen to ourselves with curiosity rather than judgment. My role is to provide a compassionate and supportive environment where you can better understand what you are carrying, reconnect with your strengths, and develop a greater sense of safety and trust within yourself.

As someone with extensive experience working across cultures and with immigrant communities, I also recognize that our identities, families, cultures, and life experiences can deeply shape how we understand ourselves and our relationships. I approach therapy with cultural humility and respect for each client's unique story, creating a space where you can explore what healing and growth mean for you.
