Sometimes you may be feeling overwhelmed by big emotions, ongoing stress, cultural or family pressures, or changes that feel hard to navigate alone. Many of the clients I work with are facing trauma, identity or cultural stressors, autism-related challenges, family conflict, anxiety, depression, or difficulties in school, relationships, or transitions. My goal is to create a warm, collaborative space where you feel supported, understood, and empowered. I help children, adults, and families build emotional regulation skills, improve relationships, and move toward greater stability and connection.

My Path as a Therapist

a therapiest journey and experiences

My path as a therapist has been shaped by my commitment to supporting children, teens, young adults, and families who are navigating big emotions, identity development, and complex family or cultural dynamics. I am especially passionate about working with AAPI communities, first-generation students, and families who are balancing multiple cultural expectations. I also enjoy supporting neurodivergent individuals, including children and teens on the autism spectrum, who may benefit from play-based, attuned, and supportive interventions.

Through my training in psychology and marriage and family therapy, I’ve developed strong experience using CBT, DBT, ACT, mindfulness, attachment-focused work, art therapy, and play therapy. I’ve supported individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, identity stressors, family conflict, and major life transitions. I also have extensive experience supporting people recovering from eating disorders, body image distress, and weight-related concerns—helping them build emotional regulation skills, reduce shame, and connect with their bodies in safer, more compassionate ways.

In my current work, I continue to support children, teens, young adults, and families navigating neurodivergence, cultural or generational challenges, relational stress, and emotional overwhelm. My style is warm, playful, interactive, and culturally sensitive. I strive to create sessions that feel supportive and engaging—often using activities, art, worksheets, and collaborative conversations to help clients of all ages feel understood and involved in their own healing.

My cultural lens is shaped by my connection to AAPI and immigrant-rooted communities, giving me insight into bicultural identity, intergenerational expectations, and the unique pressures many families carry. I believe therapy is a meaningful investment in yourself—a space to explore, heal, and grow with compassion. Outside of therapy, I enjoy journaling, coloring, reading, walking my dogs, and embracing anything Disney. My goal is to help every client feel seen, affirmed, and supported as they move toward a more grounded and connected version of themselves.
