Life can feel overwhelming when you're trying to balance everyone else's needs while quietly carrying your own stress, anxiety, or self-doubt. You may be navigating relationship challenges, family conflict, cultural expectations, major life transitions, or trying to make sense of difficult experiences from your past. As a parent, you may also be worried about your child's emotions or behaviors and wondering how to best support them. Whether you're seeking help for yourself, your child, or your family, you don't have to face these challenges alone.

I believe therapy should be a place where you can take a break from pretending everything is okay and simply show up as yourself. My goal is to create a warm, supportive space where children, teens, adults, and families feel heard, understood, and accepted without judgment. I will support you to explore the challenges you're facing, build on your strengths, and help you move toward healthier relationships, greater confidence, and a life that feels more balanced, connected, and meaningful.

My Path as a Therapist

My path to becoming a therapist has always been rooted in a desire to help people feel seen, supported, and empowered through life's challenges. Before becoming a therapist, I worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families across schools, community mental health, housing services, and child welfare. These experiences gave me the opportunity to support individuals facing a wide range of emotional, relational, and life challenges while deepening my appreciation for the resilience people carry, even during difficult times. They also reinforced my passion for creating safe, compassionate spaces where people can heal and grow.

As I transitioned into providing therapy, I gained experience supporting children, teens, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, identity concerns, relationship challenges, and significant life stressors. Working in school settings allowed me to help children and adolescents strengthen emotional awareness, build healthy coping skills, and navigate academic, social, and family challenges. My work with adults and families further strengthened my understanding of how relationships, family dynamics, and life experiences shape emotional well-being and the healing process.

I believe therapy is not about having all the answers, but about creating a space where you can explore your experiences honestly and discover your own strengths along the way. My role is to walk alongside you with compassion, curiosity, and encouragement as we work toward the goals that matter most to you. Whether you're navigating anxiety, healing from past experiences, facing family or relationship challenges, or supporting your child's emotional growth, I strive to help you feel understood, empowered, and hopeful about the path ahead.

I recognize that every person's experiences are shaped by their unique background, relationships, values, and life story. I am committed to providing culturally sensitive and inclusive care, approaching each client with openness, humility, and respect. My goal is to create a welcoming environment where individuals and families from all backgrounds feel safe, understood, and supported as they work toward meaningful and lasting change.
