Clinical Supervisor
Qualifications
Must hold a valid license in: Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). California state licensure is required.
Meets all requirements for the ability to supervise associates/interns set forth by the BBS (2+ years post-licensure and eligible supervisor coursework completed). Must have at least 2 years of clinical experience in treating fertility-related issues. Bonus if you have supervisory experience.
Exceptional management skills, rapport-building skills, communication skills, and the ability to coach supervisees to effectively engage clients.
Responsibilities
Must provide direct supervision (Individual, Triadic, or group) and training (including but not limited to onboard clinical training, note writing, crisis assessment/intervention, assisting supervisees in prioritizing client care and maintaining productivity, filing mandated reports, professional development, issues related to burnout and self-care, etc) to associates/interns weekly and compliant with BBS supervision unit requirements.
Must have availability to provide supervision during regular work hours (ideally between 8AM and 6PM) based on supervisor and supervisee availability and scheduling preferences.
Be available to support and assist the supervisee when there is a crisis situation.
Be open to supervising up to 5 associate therapists/interns.
Review and sign associate’s/intern's therapist documentation
Ensure that the services being provided are in compliance with HIPAA
Follows the ethical and practice guidelines as outlined by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences for clinical supervisors and supervisees
Benefits
$100/supervision hour + $10 for each session that your associate/intern completed
