About Tiffany

"Therapy isn’t about fixing! It’s about understanding, healing, and growing into your most grounded self."

How I Work With You

I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS), along with specialized training in Reproductive Counseling. My style is collaborative, structured, and explorative, blending practical tools with deeper reflection. Clients often describe me as patient, compassionate, and someone who helps them notice perspectives they hadn’t considered before. Many share that after our sessions, they feel more grounded, clearer about their next steps, and able to approach challenges with a fresh outlook.

A Culturally Rooted Perspective

As an immigrant and first-generation Asian American, I understand the complexities of balancing cultural expectations, identity, and belonging. I especially enjoy working with Asian and Asian American clients, intended parents, and bicultural families. I offer sessions in both English and Chinese, creating a space where cultural experiences are not only honored but also seen as strengths that can guide healing and growth.

Beyond the Therapy Room

When I’m not working, I love cooking, hiking, traveling, and painting. These activities keep me grounded and remind me of the creativity and balance that life has to offer.

My Path as a Therapist

I began my career in community mental health, where I supported children and teens through challenges like school stress, social challenges, family conflicts, and cultural adjustment. Over time, I expanded my work to include college and graduate students, young professionals (especially in the tech industry), and LGBTQ+ clients. I work with a wide range of issues such as anxiety, emotional regulation, cultural concerns, trauma, work/school-related stress, relationships, infertility, ADHD, and more. I strive to create a warm, supportive space where you can pause, reflect, and discover new perspectives for living with more ease and confidence.
